Education and Small Groups - Growing Together in God's Grace

Educational opportunities include Sunday school, BLAST, vacation Bible school, adult bible study, and confirmation. Our goals are to recruit students and teachers, find music leaders for special programs, and expand all classes and activities.

Join us on the 4th Sunday of each month, 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm, as we explore together what it means to be Lutheran and the core values of our faith. Faith Alive is for children ages 10 through 100, but we encourage anyone who is of confirmation age (6 – 9th grade) to attend in expectation of affirming their faith after completion of the program.

Join us once per month for BLAST – Bible Learning and Sharing Time! It’s a morning packed full of awesome activities for the kids! Games, snacks, crafts, music, and of course, Bible stories for children from preschool through 5th grade!

BLAST takes place on the second Saturday of each month during the school year and runs from 10:00 am – 11:30 AM.

Our organization involves a group of about 8 – 10 ladies of the congregation who meet every Tuesday morning at 9:00 am at the church. They have been faithfully meeting for over thirty years. Our goal is to meet the needs of our congregation, our community, and our world by providing warm quilts to families. The quilts come in all sizes: twin, full, queen, and baby quilts.

Our ministry involves all aspects of the interior and exterior physical properties of the church. This includes all maintenance, lawn care, snow removal, long-range projects (new roof, etc.), and small projects (clean carpet, etc.). We host a spring and fall workday every year. We also have developed a prayer walk on our property. Several families have adopted different sites along the walk to plant shrubs and flowers. This is an ongoing ministry.
